Healthy food

A healthy diet is one that provides all the essential nutrients and energy that each person needs to stay healthy.

A well nourished person has more opportunities:

• Develop fully
• Living with health
• Learn and work better
• Protect yourself from diseases.

Varied food ensures the incorporation and use of all the nutrients that we need to grow and live healthy.

Eat healthy, in addition to improving the quality of life at all ages, have been shown to prevent the development of diseases such as:

• Obesity
• Diabetes
• Cardio and cerebrovascular diseases
• High blood pressure
• Dyslipidemia
• Osteoporosis
• Some types of cancer
• Anemia
• Infections

He is recommended for healthy eating:
• Distribute food in 4 main meals and 2 snacks
• Moderate the size of portions
• Eat fruits and 3 servings of vegetables of all kinds and color by day 2
preferably raw
• Lunch and dinner, dish that are vegetables and dessert one half
fruit
• Incorporate legumes, whole grains, seeds and dried fruits.
• Red or white meats (chicken or fish) to consume no more than 5 times per week.
• Cook without salt. Replace it with parsley, basil, thyme, Rosemary and others
condiments.
• Do not use the salt shaker on the table.
• Limit sugar and alcohol consumption.
